Test and Tune

Cruise-Ins    (April - October each year)

1st Saturday

  • Krispy Kreme in Hoover (9am-noon) classic cars only
  • Alabaster Promenade Shopping Center  - near the WalMart and the DQ, just off of I-65 and Hwy 31 - Alabaster, AL. 5pm - 9pm
  • Hamburger Heaven on Hwy 280 B'ham, AL

2nd Saturday

  • Clearbranch Methodist Church in Argo, AL
  • WalMart in Hueytown, AL
  • Old Town Clanton Cruise In - 5pm-9pm.  Held by the Chilton County Cruisers in Clanton, AL. Call (205) 337-7087 for more info.
  • Colonial Promenade Tannehill (exit 1 on I-459/McCalla ). DJ Ray playing the oldies.  Start around 6pm - lasts until 9pm.  Door prizes & 50/50 pot.

2nd Sunday

  • G'Daddy's in Gardendale (former Dairy Queen) - starting April 11th, will be putting on a cruise-in the 2nd Sunday of each month (except May).  This is an OPEN cruise-in.  There will be door prizes and special deals for participants. 1-4pm  Take I-65N to exit 271(Fieldstown Road) - take this exit and bear to your right proceed through 2 traffic lights and G'Daddys is between Ruby Tuesday and Shell Gas Station(abandoned) and then Chick-fil-a is next. 

3rd Friday 

  •  Cruise-in at Jacks located at 67985 Main St (Hwy 231 So.) in Blountsville, AL.  Sponsored by Jack's and the Covered Bridge Auto Club.  Call 205-429-2755 for more info.

3rd Saturday

  • Krispy Kreme on Hwy 31 in Hoover, AL  6pm-9pm 
  • Northpark Baptist Church - Pinson, AL.  This is the cruise-in that use to gather at the Walmart in Springville, AL, 5--9pm.  Northpark Baptist Church located at 5700 Deerfoot Parkway Trussville, Alabama.  This is a big one - better get there early
  • Dixie Vintage Cruise Night at the Pelham Town Center shopping center off of Hwy 52 - just east of I-65 in Pelham, AL.  Starts around 4:00pm and last until 7-ish.
  • Performance Car Craft at 103 Longview Circle in Alabaster is hosting a cookout from 11am-3pm - and then a caravan cruise to the Pelham Town Center for the cruise-in. Hwy 31 south to Hwy 87 - turn right - go 1 block and turn left onto Longview Circle. 4th bldg on the left.

4th Saturday

  • Wal-Mart Supercenter in Bessemer, AL - just off I 20/59 near Town & Country Ford  5-9pm
  • Target at Exit 267 on I-65 north of Birmingham.   5-9pm

5th Saturday

  • June 12th - Robert & Phyllis McCombs Memorial Car Show at Valley Creek Baptist Church at 3253 Virginia Dr. in Hueytown, AL.  8am-2pm.  $20 registration fee.  Music provided by DJ Ray.  For more info contact Gary at 205-491-8711
  • June 19th - an OPEN car show hosted by "Heart of Dixie Mustang Club" at the Evangel Temple located at 3975 Vaughn Rd. in Montgomery, AL.  Registration fee is only $10.  This event will take place with the 2nd Annual MarketFest - some of the finest arts and crafts around, live entertainment, and much more. 
  • June 19th - Health Fair - Fun Day - Car Show at St. Matthew Baptist Church located at 202 Sixth St. in Docena, AL 35060.  11am-5pm.  No registration fee.  Free food and fun for everyone.  Call 205-674-9677 for more information or directions.
  • October 9th - Blountsville Harvest Festival Car & Truck Show at the We-Tote-Them upper parking lot in Blountsville, AL.  Entry fee is $10/vehicle.  Money tree & 50/50 pot.  Registration 8am-noon.  Hosted by the Covered Bridge Auto Club.  NO JUDGING.  Need more info?  Contact James at (205) 429-2755.
  • October 16th - Central Alabama Rodders Society & Manchester Auto Parts present the Cruise-In on the Square from 9am-2:30pm in downtown Jasper, Alabama.  No Entry Fee.  Door prizes and it's rumored that Elvis will be there. Club Events

Rained OUT - This is an appreciation cruise in at Advance Auto Parts (on Hwy 31, just south of Hwy 52 - in Pelham, AL) for their support of the Best Car Show Regardless.  Time is 1:30pm - 4pm.  Watch for new date.

June 6th - Tentative Date - This is an appreciation cruise-in at the Walgreens located on Hwy 150 and Ross Bridge Pkwy from 1:30pm-4pm in appreciation for their support and "door prizes" for the "Best Car Show Regardless".

Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour - 2010

Begins in Newton, Iowa on June 5th - making a stop at Regions Park (the old Hoover Met) in Hoover, Alabama on June 10th, on its way to Mobile on June 11th.

June 12, 2010 Talladega Superspeedway Spring Classic Car Show - Price:   $50 Registration Fee (First 500 Pre-Registered Receive Two Paced Laps Around TSS) $30 Registration Fee All Others  $30 Car Corral   $10 General Public Admission  Children 12 and Under Free With Paying Adult  Time:   Car Show Participants 7:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.   General Public 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.   Location:  Talladega Superspeedway Infield.   Thousand's of Dollars in Prizes, Dash Plaques, Buffalo Rock Concessions, 50's & 60's Music.  A Portion of Proceeds Benefiting Local Charities.  TO PRE-REGISTER OR PURCHASE TICKETS PLEASE CALL: PAM SMITH at 256-315-4528
